About Us

We are a mother and son team in Hong Kong, teaching each other new things every day. We love to experiment and are self-taught. To best describe us we coined the term “Baking Maniac” because we are obsessed! Everything is freshly baked in our kitchen using the finest, organic ingredients sourced from all over the world. It is thanks to everyone who has given us the opportunity to bake for their special event, for where we are today. Every order holds a very special place in our hearts! We love to give back to the local community, and through baking we are able to do much more. 10% gets donated to local charities. 

Ankrish  has baked ever since he could hold a mixer. At 12 years of age, he was unstoppable and would bake every Friday after school for the family. Ankrish decided to start blogging about all his baked goods and creations which soon led to his first order for a Christmas party at the age of 12. At 13, Friday baking was not enough, so he emailed many hotels asking if he could intern in their pastry kitchen to learn techniques from professionals; however of course he was rejected by every hotel - therefore decided to continue baking for himself and continue blogging. Ankrish took this opportunity to make things happen for himself and 6 years later has a portfolio he could never have dreamt of.


Renuka has been passionately baking for over 25 years. She first picked up the hobby when she was a child as an assistant for her mum who was known for her cakes within the neighbourhood. The mother-daughter duo would experiement in the kitchen during their free time, and come up with original recipes with exotic twists. They learnt all the tricks of the trade from books which they bought from travelling the world. Renuka still practices this method of learning with Ankrish even today. She has previously held cooking and baking classes for both children and adults alike at the YWCA as well as City Super, where Ankrish acted as her sous-chef, thus carrying the legacy down to the next generation.
